Pray, God Answers

Look around and within you, you will discover people and things/values that were one day a prayer item or a desire.
Today you have them, they are no longer a prayer item, you are thanking God for giving them to you.
Once upon a time your parents desired to have a child and they also prayed.
You are an answered prayer, a desire granted.
Knowing this be encourage to continue praying, knowing that God will someday answer you.
Remember God answers a prayer prayed according to his will.
1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us. 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

God is faithful to answer prayers and to grant desires all you have to do is:
1. Go to him with faith.
Hebrews 11: 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
When you pray with faith it means you pray with an assurance/fully convinced that what you are asking for will be granted.

2. Ask with the right motive.
James 4:2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Know what you want ask and ask to glorify God not to boast and boost your ego.
3. Delight yourself in the Lord.
Psalms 37:4-5 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
Delight – Take pleasure/rejoice in God/get satisfaction from God. Taking pleasure in God will be accompanied by living according to his word.

1 Thessalonian 5:17 Pray without ceasing. Whatever you are praying for ,do not stop continue in his appointed time he will answer.
